7、 Spray coating process
1. Open the packaging of the alkyd anti rust paint, add an appropriate amount of alkyd diluent, stir thoroughly, and let it mature for about 3 to 5 minutes.
2. The surface of the coated object shall be sandblasted, polished and cleaned to achieve Sa2.5 level, and the surface shall have a bright metallic color. The surface of the substrate is free of sand particles, oxide layer, rust, oil stains, etc.
3. The spray gun should maintain a right angle with the coating surface, and the running speed of the spray gun should be appropriate. If it is too fast, the paint will adhere less and the surface will be rough. If it is too slow, the paint will adhere more and be prone to sagging.
4. Spray 1-2 coats of alkyd anti rust paint, with a 4-hour interval between each coat. After construction, ensure it is dry for 24 hours.
5. Use a diluent to clean the residual paint inside the spray gun, use a spray gun brush and solvent to clean the nozzle, and use a cloth soaked in diluent to wipe the outside of the gun body clean.
6. Spraying reference: The coating rate is two times of spraying, about 5 square meters per kilogram, and the thickness of the paint film for one coat is 25-30 microns.

After the construction is completed, the workpiece should be left to stand for more than 7 days to allow the paint to completely dry before it can be put into use.
10、 Storage
1. Paint and thinner should be stored in a cool and sealed place, fire-resistant, leak proof, sun resistant, heat-resistant, and away from sources of fire.
2. The storage period of the coating is more than one year.
3. After opening the can, the paint should be thoroughly stirred evenly to prevent color deviation caused by pigment sinking to the bottom.
4. If there are dust, particles, oil stains and other attachments on the surface of the workpiece, it will damage the appearance, so it should be wiped clean before spraying.
5. Due to different plastic substrates, thorough testing should be conducted before spraying to avoid affecting paint adhesion.
